Self - Development Review

People develop all their life. They strengthen their weaknesses and improve strengths. However, we usually recognise our weaknesses when we change our common environment. This happened to me too when I finished high school and started studying at the University of Bedfordshire.
I can be definitely characterized as a “home plant” because I have been living in my native country for nineteen years together with my family, friends and relatives. I have never been away for a long time, so when I came to England first weeks were really tragic to me. I was homesick and for that reason I could not concentrate as I was thinking about home all the time. However, now, when almost seven weeks have passed, I have definitely changed. I got used to my new life and it looks to me not as bad as it looked in the beginning. Moreover, now my life is unpredictable and thrilling because every day brings something new to me.
I have faced up another challenge at the University. I remember my first week very well as I tried to catch every word. As I am a foreign student it was really hard for me to understand everything what I have been told. But after few weeks spent in England I have got used to English language and now I can understand more but not everything yet. But I am sure that after more time I will develop this skill for 100 %. To make it better I will be trying to communicate with foreign students and to speak English as much as I can. I am sure that my efforts will improve my English.
