1. Introduction
During the course “Manufacturing technology of machines” there is taught about production processes. Like a practical part of this course is project. The main task of the project is to describe the manufacturing process of the part in details (the part drawing and the task is given by a teacher and is as Appendix 1 and 2). The project consists of such parts-problems:
• General work-specific calculations necessary for further design;
• Analysis and selection of the blank of the part;
• Analysis of the drawing of the part and its technical specifications;
• Analysis of machining operations, operation sequence and substantiation of the part location in operations;
• Design of machining plan;
• Computing and selection of machining allowances;
• Design of operational technology, calculation of rates of cutting;
• Time rating;
• Variant comparison;
• Design of the department for part production;
• Design of a special fixture for surface A machining operation;
• Analysis of the accuracy specification ensured by the fixture;
