Introduction – Industrial revolution
In its broadest possible usage the idea of "management" is as old as human society. Plenty of ancient monuments attests about that, they could be build only by coordinating people’s exertions. Consider the management skill’s required, by the ancient Egyptian’s to build their pyramids, by the ancient Chinese to build the Great Wall of China, the management skill’s of the Mesopotamian’s to irrigate their field’s and wall their cities, of the Romans when building their road’s aqueduct’s and Hadrian’s wall. History of ancient empires and nations show has that then existed formal organizations. They progressed and strengthened and so their managing grows into more difficult. In them, we can find all signs of modern management, thought their operating format were strongly different from our day’s management. In ancient organizations the highest link rulers groups were not numerous, there were not many middle link managers. Almost everything dependent from the top manager wills he was dealing with all management questions by invoking his experience and intuition. However insightful pre-industrial history and literature is about ``management``, we do not trace the founding of modern management to these sources. Modern management is business management. Written sources exist from 7000 year’s back, but management schools are very young, settled soon after industrial revolution at the end of 19th century.
Industrial revolution like a process started in 18th century’s second half in Great Britain. Since the start of 19th century industrializes Belgium and France, ``German tongue`` countries joins the process. Later this century all prime European countries and European part of Russian empire joins in. Industry processing fast in north states of America.
